John A. Wolfe is the son of John D. Wolfe. A native of upstate New York, he received his undergraduate degree from Purchase College in Printmaking. He was the recipient of a Graduate Fellowship from Syracuse University and currently teaches drawing at the State University of New York at New Paltz. He has exhibited in numerous galleries, Universities and Museums including HBO Corporate Gallery in New York City, Atlantic City Gallery and Museum, and The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art. His  work has frequently appeared in Greenwich Times, a  Time-Life Publication, and Direct Art Magazine.
